Skyradar and Fltplan Go on iPad and iPhone
« on: October 02, 2017, 03:31:23 PM »
Does anybody have their Skyradar D2 working with Fltplan Go on iPad or iPhone?  My iPad shows "Skyradar" as an available external device, but won't connect.  My iPhone does not show Skyradar as an availabe devive at all.

I can get both the iPad and the iPhone to connect by choosing "Pathfinder" as the external device, and traffic targets are displayed, however, the TIS-B information displayed does not show target altitude or speed data.

Fltplan Go allows for adding "Additional Custom Unit" that requires a port number.  Maybe that is the way to connect?

My Skyradar works correctly with my WingX apps, but I would prefer to use Fltplan if I gan get it to work.

I haven't been successful in getting it to work on an iPhone or iPad either. I don't get why though. It should be possible. Any official word on this?
