ads-b coverage area

Ok......I am looking at the L unit.......I looked at the current ads-b coverage area and it looks like where i fly out of KDNV is close to the edge of the coverage are........will i not pick up anything then? Is the coverave area expanding at all?? I am very interest in this unit but not if when i fly south out of my base I wont get anything.......Thanks.......Greg

Greg,
ADS-B ground stations will be deployed throughout the NAS, with an in-service decision due in the 2012–2013 time frame.
You can find the most current ADS-B coverage map on the FAA’s website by clicking here: http://www.faa.gov/nextgen/flashMap/index.cfm (select ADS-B and then "En Route")
